You found what you thought was the best home workout program, but you just didn't feel like you improved as much as you should have. All you wanted to do was play better basketball so you could compete with the best of them.

The truth is that you may have to face the fact that the home workout program that you were involved in may not be the best. Just because you go to a web site and it has a good sales page with lots of testimonials, doesn't mean its the best for your muscles fitness.

Its time you realize that you need to take control of your athletic future by taking the time to learn what you have to do to get where you want to be. Stop listening to strangers, people you don't know that tell you what's good for you. Yes, it all begins with Knowledge.

You don't want to take the time reading and learning, but to understand what your needs are, that's where you have to start. Knowing and understanding what you have to do to play better basketball, takes your total commitment.

How in the world can you make the decision for your future if you don't know exactly what you need, for what you want. There are some very good home workout programs that will propel you to the next level. But there are twice as many that will sell you short.

Who can you believe, some stranger that is trying to sell you on their home workout program that is thinking of the money they're going to make, or trust yourself? The answer is quite obvious. But how can you trust your judgment if you have no idea what you need? You can't!

The first thing you should know is which muscle groups are involved in the activity and movements that you want to improve on. When running and jumping your main muscles that come in play are the hamstrings, calves, glutes, quadriceps and the lower back muscles.

Learn and understand the best way to strengthen these muscles to give you increased flexibility, better balance, an explosive energy, a higher vertical leap, and unmatched speed like you never thought possible.

Lots of home workout programs fail to teach you all the areas you must work on so you don't come up short. The top 4 elements to be aware of are the correct principles, practices, techniques, and the most critical is nutrition. Miss one element and you'll fail. Its as simple as that.
